Pitt Says U.S. SEC Still `Absolutely Essential' (Audio)
Nov. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Harvey Pitt, former Securities and Exchange Commission chairman, says in terms of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission there is a real need for the agency to find new ways to "achieve its ever increasing workload, it is absolutely essential for American investors and for our economy."
