Last Friday, London saw the conclusion of another in a series of VZMD's tours of the business-investor programs: Invest to Slovenia – investo.si and International Investors` Network – investo.international, which took the VZMD President to Ghent, Brussels, Monaco, Dublin, and Cork in the span of three weeks. In the final week, Mr. Verbič attended the ninth forum of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) called 'Next Generation Manager Forum 2022' which took place in the immediate vicinity of the famous Piccadilly Circus. The thematically rich forum serves as a hub where many high-profile representatives in consultants of various investors, managers, and financial companies share their experience and views.
In addition to the forum, the VZMD President also attended the 'Next Gen Fest London: Inspirational festival for young entrepreneurs', as well as the grand social event for business people and investors which took place in the evening hours. For Mr. Verbič, the numerous meetings and receptions in the British capital began directly after arriving from Cork, Ireland, i.e. from the Annual congress of the European business angel network (EBAN), where he had a friendly business meeting with the President of the World Federation of Investors (WFI) and the President of the UK Individual Shareholders Society (ShareSoc), Mark Northway.
As always, Mr. Verbič took these events as an opportunity to, among other, present the investment opportunities, activities, and possibilities provided by the VZMD's international business-investor programs. As the May tour has ended, the Association is already busy making agreements for a June international tour with the participation at the conference of the European Federation of Investors and Financial Services Users (BETTER FINANCE) 'A New Era of Investor Protection, Sustainability & Pension Reform' in Athens, the Roadshow of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) etc.
