The round table was run by dr. Jan Šebo, the manager of the Slovak Institute of Savings and Investment and senior researcher at the Matej Bel University. This dynamic discussion included Panos Tsakloglou, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of Greece; Fausto Parente, the Executive Director of the Board of Supervisors of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA); Guillaume Prache, the Managing director of BETTER FINANCE; Blaž Brodnjak, the President of the Management Board of NLB; Bojan Ivanc, Head of the analytical group at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia; and Martin White, the member of the Board of directors of the UK Shareholders Association (UKSA). The discussion addressed the true yield of the "pension products", an issue which has been systematically monitored by BETTER FINANCE, the issue of saving for old age which is non-existent in some countries, and the forthcoming introduction of the Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP).
