This is the most prominent award given to public limited companies, which in the past was also presented by the PanSlovenian Investors' & Shareholders' Association (VZMD) together with its partners at important international events. In 2012, on the occasion of the world’s biggest meeting of investors' and shareholders' representatives - organized by the VZMD (VIDEO) - at Ljubljana Castle (VIDEO) and Cankarjev dom Cultural and Congress Center (VIDEO) the award was given to Slovenian companies KRKA, d.d. and GORENJE, d.d., while the year before at the event held at the Ljubljana Skyscraper (Nebotičnik) the award went to MERCATOR, d.d. and NKBM, d.d. (VIDEO).

In addition to that, the two-day event in Wiesbaden saw meetings of the Executive Board, General Assembly, and Legal Committee of Better Finance - where the VZMD presented the European potential of the “Share SUPPORT program” (VIDEO) - and the high-profile international conference “European Capital Markets Union (CMU) - Update & Future”, attended by more than 200 prominent guests from over 25 countries. The VZMD has been actively attending the renown biennial conference with its business-investor programs Invest to Slovenia (investo.si) and International Investors` Network (investo.international) for the last 10 years. This time too, the activities and opportunities brought by investo.si and investo.net are being properly presented.
