The events, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS) and the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (BSCC), were attended by many high representatives from sports, politics, companies and institutions from both countries, such as Her Excellency, Ms. Sophie Honey, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Slovenia, Mr. Milan Brglez, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Lord Price, Minister of State at the Department for International Trade of Great Britain, Mr. Mike Hawes, the President of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Mr. David Thomas, the Executive Chairman of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe, Mr. Miha Žerko, the President of the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Samo Hribar Milič, General Manager of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and many others.

At the conference, three round tables took place, notably on the topic of further economic cooperation after the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union. There were also the presentations of the British automotive industry's strategy, the Slovenian startup Visionect d.o.o. and the business operations in the United Kingdom. The conference concluded with bilateral meetings and gathering of the representatives of Slovenian and British companies, before they watched the football match.

At the organizers' invitation and as part of the efforts of VZMD's international business-investor programs: Invest to Slovenia (investo.si) and International Investors' Network (invest-to.net), the conference was attended by the VZMD President, Mr. Kristjan Verbič as well. Among others, Mr. Verbič also spoke to Mr. Lord Price, Mr. David Thomas and Mr. Milan Brglez, with whom he discussed the abolishment of registry accounts at the Central Securities Clearing Corporation and the Slovenian Consumers' Association's (ZPS) initiative to submit a proposal to adopt an authentic interpretation of the Book Entry Securities Act (ZNVP-1), which was also supported by VZMD.

In the past, the investo.si and invest-to.net programs have actively cooperated many times at business-sports events, among others at this year's European Handball Championship in Wroclaw (VIDEO), World Handball Championship 2015 in Qatar and at football matches between Slovenia and Argentina as well as Slovenia and Uruguay in 2014 in Montevideo and Buenos Aires.
