Next week marks the beginning of this year's fourth tour of the PanSlovenian Investors' & Shareholders' Association (VZMD) international business--investor programs: Invest to Slovenia – investo.si and International Investors` Network – investo.international, in the context of which the VZMD President, Mr. Kristjan Verbič, will visit Germany, Sweden and Chile.
In Berlin - where Mr. Verbič was invited by the German sister association »Bund der Versicherten«(BdV) - he will attend the association's conference and the annual general meeting; following this, he will participate at an important voting general meeting of the European Federation of Investors and Financial Services Users (Better Finance) in Stockholm, where he will run for his third term on the Executive Board of this influential European association. In addition to the annual general meeting, an international conference and numerous events and meetings will take place in Stockholm to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Swedish shareholder association (Aktiespararna).
This tour will end with active participation in the economic delegation led by the Director-General of European Commission's Directorate-General for Environment, Daniel Calleja, which will visit the Chilean capital Santiago. The delegation will be met by the Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Heraldo Muñoz Valenzuela, Minister of Environment, Pablo Badenier Martínez and Minister of Energy, Máximo Pacheco. Several B2B meetings and numerous other business events will also take place enabling the participants to exchange and present their opinions, and to meet local representatives from the field of economy, businesses, institutions and politics. The VZMD President also accepted the invitation from influential Chilean businessmen, President Vicente Caruz, and the Executive Director José Aravena, to a working lunch of the EuroChile Business Foundation.
The VZMDwill again ensure efficient presentation of companies, institutions, and investment projects included in their programs Invest to Slovenia and International Investors` Network. Those interested can submit their informative-promotional materials by April 18th 2016, 12.00 noon at the latest, at the VZMD's new headquarters, Hrenova ulica 13, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
